Switching to TWRU

Change IT providers without the drama.

Most businesses stay with an IT provider they're unhappy with because switching feels risky. We've taken over from other providers before, in four steps.

How switching works

  1. Discover

We inventory your accounts, devices, licenses, network and software. You get a full list of what you own.

  2. Secure

We take over admin access, reset shared passwords and put our security stack on every device.

  3. Modernize

Old servers and on-site domains move to the cloud, usually over a weekend, with a rollback plan.

  4. Document

You get written documentation of how everything is set up, in plain language.

A long-established veterinary practice

An aging on-site server and an IT setup inherited from a previous provider. Over one weekend we moved every workstation from the old server to Microsoft Entra ID and Intune, applied encryption and security baselines, removed admin rights from everyday accounts and checked the practice software worked on every machine. The old server was shut down and kept briefly as a fallback.

A software development firm

An aging firewall, and remote developers who needed the office's approved internet address to reach certain cloud services. We replaced the firewall with a managed FortiGate and set up a VPN that sends only those services through the office, so everything else stays fast.

Your data stays yours.

A client once asked us: if something happened, how would I get my data back or move to another IT company? It's a fair question, and we answered it in writing.

  • Your Microsoft 365, Azure and licenses stay in your company's name
  • Documentation you can read and keep
  • A written exit plan whenever you ask
